Scott and Heather Chapple 2010 Top 10

This year was full of fun, new experiences and some changes for our family. Here is our top ten count down.

10. In March, during spring break, we made our first trip as a family to Disneyland. Our Grandma Whiting came with us. We spent two fun filled days there. The kids couldn't get enough and we were all exhausted at the end of the day but it was so much fun. This is a picture of Kate holding Tinker Bell in her hand.

9. In May Spencer turned 12 and receive the priesthood.

8. In June we went to California for the second time to attend the Chapple reunion. We had fun playing at the lake, jet skiing, boating and spending time with family.

7. We traveled to California for a third time in July to attend a Zamora reunion in San Diego. We enjoyed seeing family that we have not seen in along time and meeting new people and learning about some of Heather's ancestors.

6. The kids and I spent a few weeks in Utah during July. We were able go to Rexburg and visit Grandma and Grandpa Cureton. Our niece Lindsey was able to come with us. Scott interviewed with a company here in Salt Lake called Quartzdyne.

5. We went to the McCleve reunion towards the end of July. It was wet but we all had fun with our McCleve family.

4. At the end of August Quartzdyne offered Scott a job. It was a good offer and he accepted it right away. Their offer included relocating us to Utah.

3. Over labor Day weekend we traveled to California for the fourth time and surprised our children by taking them to Sea World. Since we were moving to Utah in a few weeks we decided at the last minute to take advantage of this opportunity, plus They were running a special so we were able to get two kids in free. The kids were so surprised. They thought we were going to the beach. They couldn't stop thanking us. It was almost as fun as Disneyland. This is a picture of the kids showing us how excited they are to be at Sea World.

2. We moved to Utah Mid September. We found a nice home to rent in West Jordan. We have been enjoying living close to our Grandma Whiting and Uncle Shawn and also our McCleve family. We have been able to see the Becks and Murdock's so far. Spencer and David Murdock have become good friends.
Scott is really happy with his job. The company does so much for their employees and he is enjoying learning new things. He has also enjoyed being so close to the BYU action and has already been to two BYU games!
We are enjoying the snow. Scott had to purchase a snow blower!

1. On December 3rd out house in Maricopa Sold! We are so relived. Now we can move forward and hopefully buy a home at the end of our lease here. Olivia also potty trained in just two short weeks.

We have been so blessed this year and acknowledge the Lord's hand in our lives. He has a plan for us and we are so grateful for Him and His Son and Their constant care.
We hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas!

Rachel, Christy, David, Matthew and Michael Murdock spent the night at our house. The girls had a great time playing with Glurch. In the morning we had waffles for breakfast.

Halloween Party at Grandma Whitings

Grandma Whiting threw a great Halloween party for the kids. For dinner she served bloody brains and eyeballs, slime punch, and pumpkin cookies. Her decorations were great too. They painted pumpkins and watched How to Train your Dragon.

McKay Turns 7 Ben Ten Style

We had a birthday party for McKay on Saturday the 16th. 3 friends and his cousin Douglas came. The kids made flying saucers and then tried them out. McKay's flew the furthest.

Swamp Fire was frozen in a block of ice by the enemy and the kids has to unfreeze him as quickly as possible. They had to get water from a bucket at the other end of the yard and pour it on the ice to melt it. They all worked together to get the job done.

The kids loved this game!

They were successful in freeing Swamp Fire from his frozen state!

Fun gifts from his friends.

Our neighbor Jen gave olivia her 1st haircut. She did so good and was excited to sit in the chair and get her hair done like the rest of the family. She look so cute!

Kate's new hair cut

Kates has been asking to get her hair cut short so we had Jen (neighbor and member of our ward) cut it last Friday. She looks adorable and is very proud of her new look.
