Cute pictures of the kids

Kate showing off her new pretty dress.

Olivia is growing and learning so fast. We thought this picture was funny:) Our friend Natalie Roos made the tutu for Olivia. Thanks Natalie. It's adorable!

Working in the yard - We now have a lawn!

Here is a picture of the finished product. Taken just after the sun went down so it is kind of hard to see what it looks like.

Darren laying the sod (see below) in place. He would lay the Sod in place and I (Scott) would make the cut outs for the sprinklers and cut the ends.

It went really really well. In all it took about 3 1/2 hours to lay all of the Sod in place.

My friend Darren Roos was so willing to come and help. He ended up doing most of the heavy lifting. Thanks so much Darren!

Making progress on laying down the Sod.

Add Mulch and Gypsum to help the dirt out and hopefully get the grass to grow better.

Running the Rotor Tiller to prepare for the sod.

lots of candy

Olivia couldn't wait to get her hand on some of that candy too!

Cute Critters!

Mandy Sewell, a lady that I visit teach, brought me this amazing treat. This is the cutest Halloween treat I have seen yet and it is so simple. She also made the box by hand. She is a creative gal.

Happy Halloween!

Our kids had fun choosing there costumes this year. Spencer went as Harry Potter, Allyson was Hannah Montana, McKay was Strong Man and Kate Sleeping Beauty. The neighbor boy came to the Trunk or Treat with us.

Time at the Egbert's home

Heather E Chapple, Ryan Chapple, Scott Chapple and Heather D. Chapple

It was great to see Ryan and Heather when they came to see us at Cindy's. We all enjoyed eating and visiting.

A little story behind this rafting trip that was 16 years in the making! Right after my parents dropped me (Scott) off at the MTC everyone went rafting. Of course they wrote me all about it and sent pictures. Every since then any time we tried to go it never worked out. This time it worked out and we all enjoyed rafting down the Snake River. One important note: Remember to keep your mouth closed even though you are having so much fun. This lesson I learned quickly. Thanks Lon for taking us. I (Scott) sure had a great time. We will have to do it again soon.

Everyone in the raft.

Josh and Tyler Egbert moving pipe. This is one of the ways to earn $ during the summer in Idaho.

Aren't they adorable? Brianna Egbert and Kate Chapple

The kids all had a great time at the bird farm. As always holding the birds is the funnest part. Last time we visited the Egberts we also did this and we had to go back since we had so much fun last time.

We all had a great time swimming with the Egberts and Shirley & kids at the Wendell Pool.

Spencer loves to good whenever he can. The waffles were yummy!

Family Vacation to Idaho for Cureton Reunion

Just before our vacation we purchased a Bumbo. Olivia enjoys sitting in it so she can sit up and see everything that is going on around her.

We all enjoyed eating together.

The Rexburg Temple is beautiful! We enjoyed walking around it with the kids.

The kids enjoyed spending time with Great Grandpa Cureton. He did not feel well at all before the reunion but felt himself after a priesthood blessing. He was able to enjoy the family and other things that had been planned for the reunion.

It has been awhile since we have posted something on our blog. Our trip from Maricopa, AZ to Rexburg, ID was just under 1000 miles. We left in the early afternoon on Thursday June 19th and went as far as Page, AZ. You could see Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell out of our motel window. In the morning we woke up very early (lost 1 hour because of daylight savings) and headed north. 10 hours later we where in Rexburg.

Before leaving to Idaho Spencer and I went to a Diamond Backs baseball game. It was the Boy Scouts of America night at the ball game. Take a good look at the picture taken of the Megatron and see if you recognize anyone?
