For Preschool last week the girls made these cute Turkeys. They were able to do most of it themselves. They turned out great!

Kate's 5th Birthday Party

We had a early birthday party for Kate because her Best friend Emily, pictured in front, is moving to Utah. This was Kate's first firends Birthday Party. She wanted a Pajama Party so everyone came in their PJ'S and brought their sleeping bags and stuffed animals. They had fun getting their nails painted, playing games and of course opening presents.

Can I have another sucker? Three just isn't enough!

Here the kids are at the Trunk or Treat. You can't see Allyson's costume but she was dressed up as a Rocker with green and blakc striped stockings, boots and a frilly ballet skirt. McKay is trying to look like a fierce Spiderman!

We got the same reactions when we took the kids around the neighborhood to trick or treat. It really looks like some guy is carrying him! It is so awesome!

Happy Halloween!

We had fun helping Spencer create this costume. The idea came from The Clark family in Albuquerque. Spencer turned lots of heads and had lots of people confused! The Bishopric said they were talking about his costume at church this morning and agreed that he definatly won the best costume.

Kate's almost dance recital

Kate has been taking a ballet class from a lady in our ward. She has had so much fun going to this class. They had a recital last Saturday in the dance teachers back yard but our sweet little Kate was so scared. She did not want to be there. One of the other mom's was able to get her to go up on the stage but she just froze. She was in tears after the number was done and refused to do any more. Well at least we got a couple of pictures of her. She looked adorable. Maybe next time

Allyson gets her ears pierced

On Saturday morning (March 21st) we took Allyson to Claire's in the Chandler Fashion Center Mall to get her ears pierced. Allyson has been waiting for this day to come since she turned six. We told her when she turned eight she could get her ears pierced. She was a little nervous but she did great. She didn't even flinch! She is very excited to wear earings.

It hurt a little but Allyson did it. Her ears are finally pierced.

shopping for earings

Allyson got $15 for earings from her cousin Rachel for her birthday. She had fun picking them out. In six weeks she can wear them!

Rachel Chapple was with Allyson when she got her ears pierced.

Pizza Time

Happy Birthday

Allyson loved her cake. It's not the prettiest but she thought it was great.

Fluffy Flip Flop Slippers

Fluffy Flip Flop Slippers

Allyson had an un-slumber birthday party. 7 friends from her class, 1 friend from primary and her cousin Rachel came. They all came in their PJ'S and brought their pillows and favorite stuffed animal. They ate pizza, and played in the back yard for the first hour. For a craft the girls got to make their own fluffy flip flop slippers. They turned out so cute and the girls loved them! They got thier nails painted (I had two of the young women from my ward come and help me with the craft and painting nails. They got to pass of a personal progress at the same time). We played a couple of games, opened presents, had cake and ice cream, and watched Madascar 2 (Allyson's request). Everyone went home at 9:30 except for Rachel who got to stay the night. Allyson said it was the best birthday party ever!

Olivia has discovered the kitchen cabinets and that
she can open them and crawl inside and pull everything out. She knows she is up to know good because when you call her name she won't look at you and just laughs!

McKay's Birthday

Kate's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Kate's birthday in Snowflake. Her siblings, cousins, grandma and grandma Chapple, parents and Aunt Ashley were there to celebrate the big day with her. She wanted a Sleeping Beauty party. We did our best to make her feel like a princess. She was so excited. We made crowns and wands and played pin the kiss on the frog and pass the present. Their prizes were candy necklaces and ring pops. I think everyone enjoyed the party.

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas and the kids are very excited about their gifts. The most meaningful gifts they received were from eachother. Each gave a gift of service that they would perform for one another. The kids acted out the nativity for the first time on Christmas Eve. Next year we will use a baby doll instead of Olivia for the baby Jesus!

Sunshine Generation 2008

Spencer and McKay participated in Sunshine Generation this fall. They did a Christmas performance where they sang and danced. They did a great job.
