McKay Turns 7 Ben Ten Style

We had a birthday party for McKay on Saturday the 16th. 3 friends and his cousin Douglas came. The kids made flying saucers and then tried them out. McKay's flew the furthest.

Swamp Fire was frozen in a block of ice by the enemy and the kids has to unfreeze him as quickly as possible. They had to get water from a bucket at the other end of the yard and pour it on the ice to melt it. They all worked together to get the job done.

The kids loved this game!

They were successful in freeing Swamp Fire from his frozen state!

Olivia's 1st Hiar cut

Our neighbor Jen gave olivia her 1st haircut. She did so good and was excited to sit in the chair and get her hair done like the rest of the family. She look so cute!

Kate's new hair cut

Kates has been asking to get her hair cut short so we had Jen (neighbor and member of our ward) cut it last Friday. She looks adorable and is very proud of her new look.

New Shelves

Scott built some new shelves in both the two car and single car garages. He did an awesome job and things are a lot more organized.

My Mom made us these totally cute curtains for Christmas. I love the ties at the top. It really makes the family room look nice. Thanks Mom.

Spencer's Paper Mache Dragon

Spencer's class was given the assignment to make a paper mache dragon out of recycled materials. At first he was not sure he could do it but in the end he came up with this! It looks amazing! Great job Spencer.

Kate Turned Five on Dec. 31st!

We celebrated kate's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Chapples house again (all her birthdays have been there!) It is fun for her because there are usually lots of cousins there. I attempted to copy this idea for Kate's cake off of Betty Crocker.com. It's not quite as cute but kate liked it. Ashley and Sarah helped me decorate it.

Gramdma and Grandpa Chapple gave kate a Photo book with pictures of herself in it. It is so nice and she loves looking throught it.
