Working in the yard - We now have a lawn!


Here is a picture of the finished product. Taken just after the sun went down so it is kind of hard to see what it looks like.



Darren laying the sod (see below) in place. He would lay the Sod in place and I (Scott) would make the cut outs for the sprinklers and cut the ends.


It went really really well. In all it took about 3 1/2 hours to lay all of the Sod in place.


My friend Darren Roos was so willing to come and help. He ended up doing most of the heavy lifting. Thanks so much Darren!

Add Mulch and Gypsum to help the dirt out and hopefully get the grass to grow better.

Your yard looks nice (and familiar). Love the way it turned out! You must enjoy doing nice yards since you have now done 2, right? :-)

How exciting! There is nothing like grass in a backyard to keep down on the dirt tracked into the house. Your yard looks great!

Wow, you grass looks great--instant green! I know those sprinklers will keep it green--I helped so much with them.:)
